I had one of the best experiences last week at Kraftwork Bar in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
It was one of those days that you just simply wanted to be over and done with, it was moving day. We moved from Northern Liberties into Fishtown and it took pretty much most of the day to do it. We started at 9am and were finished up at about 9pm and didn’t have a clue where the pots and pans were so we headed out to find a place to eat in our new hood. I had always heard good things about Kraftwork and we were now just 2 blocks away so we decided to go and man were we glad that we did.
I took one look at the menu and I knew that this wouldn’t be my last time to this magnificent wonderful place. The beers that they have on tap change with the seasons so you’ll always get something new to try and with Sip Week fully underway you have to come try a few before the new ones roll in. I ordered the French Onion Soup Short Rib Sandwich … and yes … it’s a good as it sounds! I also had the truffled deviled eggs and three fantastic wheat beers.
I’m not a food critic or a writer so my review is probably understated on how good it actually is so just take my word for it… GO!!
